Mona Florian of the European University Viadrina Frankfurt presented her research on the experiences of volunteers working in a refugee centre in Germany at the 2nd Symposium on Meaningful Work held in Auckland, New Zealand, in December.
In her paper, Mona and her colleagues posed the interesting question of whether it is possible to have too much meaning in work, and how people might respond under such circumstances.
Mona shares some of the findings emerging from her research in this video.
